The Enable-IT™ 820 Single-Line Ethernet Extenders are the worlds only extender to combine Voice, Ethernet and PoE all into one simple solution for IP Camera Extension or WiFi Access Point Extension at high speed. These elegant units are ideal for installing any WiFi Wireless Access Point, Security camera or other PoE powered equipment. The 820 units are a pair of Ethernet line drivers that utilize existing Voice CAT2 Telco wiring or better that drives your Ethernet data, dual voice lines and Power Over Ethernet up to 900ft or 275m distance over a 4-Pair (8 wire) telephone line or CAT5 cabling. No power required at the remote end, No Firmware to upgrade or manage. These units are easy and rapid to install with plug and play RJ-45 Ethernet jacks to quickly insert your wiring and go.

The 820 Ethernet extenders can be used on live voice wiring transparently; try that with your expensive LRE. The design methodology would be to think of the 820 extending a standard Ethernet line up to 900' (275m) including existing dual voice lines simultaneously with 48v of power to drive your remote PoE devices. To increase the durability and extended use of the product providing maximum future technology protection, The 820 Extended Ethernet Units meet the challenge of modern switched LANs and allows you to add features and capacity as your network expands. The 820 units have been tested to provide sustained full duplex transport up to 15MB/s over CAT3 cabling or better.
