Ethernet Port Trunking, switchport trunking or channel bonding(1 post)
Ethernet Port Trunking, switchport trunking or channel bonding is a technology that allows a device to combine the throughput of multiple LAN ports to act as one common connection. This is very useful to increase performance between two LANS up to 328ft/100m apart.
Enable-IT Ethernet Extenders have Dual or Quad LAN ports available and can take advantage of your Ethernet Switch port trunking, channel bonding or whatever your switch calls this technology. However the Interlink port between the Ethernet Extender units has a maximum speed of 100Mbps.
